Super Metroid

Although I was never a huge fan of this game, it is hard to deny both its playability and its influence on the games in this genre.One only has to look at a game like Turrican to see the similarities.  But Metroid does even more!

Metroid takes the agility of Prince of Persia, throws in a little Pitfall, adds some cool bosses and some stonking weaponry and goes ballistic!
